Kyron Learning: AI Innovator Program

Become an AI Innovator

For faculty and instructional designers: build AI-powered instructional lessons that guides students through practice, feedback, and deeper thinking—then measure its impact and earn your AI Innovator Badge.

The Kyron AI Innovator Program

A free, application-based program for educators ready to use Kyron to turn course content into interactive, AI-powered learning experiences grounded in learning science.

  • 10 faculty will be chosen to participate

  • 8 weeks of guided setup and implementation of AI-powered instruction

  • 1 AI enhanced course live for the Spring 2027 term

Why This Program

Bringing AI into a course is easy. Designing an AI-powered learning experience that meaningfully improves student learning is much harder.

The AI Innovator Program gives you the structure, support, and evidence to move beyond experimentation. You’ll learn how to use AI-powered instruction to address a real challenge in your course, build an experience grounded in learning science, and measure whether it improves engagement, confidence, or learning outcomes.

You’ll leave the program with:

  • A real, AI-enhanced course ready to launch with students
  • The skills and experience to build more AI-powered learning experiences on your own
  • Evidence of impact you can share with institutional leaders and colleagues
  • An AI Innovator Badge recognizing your proficiency in evidence-based, AI-enabled teaching

What You’ll Do

  • Weeks 1–2: Plan

    • Meet your Kyron coach, select the course you’ll focus on, and identify the moments where AI-guided practice could have the greatest impact. Together, you’ll define what success looks like for you and your students.

  • Weeks 3–6: Build

    • Create your Kyron learning assets in Kyron Studio, with coaching, feedback, and quality reviews along the way.

    • You build them. We guide you—so you leave with the skills and confidence to do it again.

  • Weeks 7–8: Integrate and Prepare

    • Connect Kyron to your LMS, finalize your learning assets, and prepare for launch. You’ll receive guidance on implementation best practices and how to measure effectiveness.

Spring 2027: Launch and Measure

Deploy what you built with your students. Monitor engagement and outcomes, then review the results with your cohort, your Kyron team, and your Executive Sponsor.

What You'll Need to Apply

To participate in the AI Innovator Cohort, you'll need:

  • One Spring 2027 course where you're excited to explore how AI-powered instruction can improve student learning.
  • An Executive Sponsor from academic leadership—such as a department chair, dean, director, or vice provost/provost—who will support your participation, stay informed at key milestones, and hold budget authority to evaluate broader use if your pilot is successful. Learn more here
  • Institutional readiness to launch your AI-powered instruction lessons with students in Spring 2027.

The application will ask about your course, your goals for participating, the challenges you're hoping to address, and how you'll measure success. You'll also provide your Executive Sponsor's information.
